1. VMS, unless otherwise specified, is case insensitive. That means that the current stake of your caps-lock key is transparent.

2. All of the commands you mention can be abbreviated.

3. By implementing GNV (free from HP) on your OpenVMS system, you will have all of your favorite unix utilities.</description>
